Trying to find meaningful names for our new designs can be a long and painful process, however with Bonnie we immediately thought of the auld Celtic word for 'pretty'. Based on a previous design, Iona, with just a few subtle changes, Bonnie quickly became one of our most popular designs. Made from beautiful pure sandwashed silk crepe , trimmed with gold thread Celtic knotwork embroidery around the neckline, sleeves and belt, Bonnie has a square neck and extra, tight fitting sleeves.
As with all Lindsay Fleming designs, Bonnie can be changed to suit your own taste. For example many clients have preferred to have their dress made with silver or coloured embroidery. To discuss this and other options available contact a designer.
