The year was 2001, and we had just launched seven new dresses to compliment our extremely popular 'Celtic Spirit Collection'. Within the new collection we tried to offer a few simpler, less elaborate designs, with a minimal amount of embroidery. With this in mind we drew our first simple sketches. The result, Kyla!
From the Celtic word for lovely, Kyla is a simple but stunning wedding dress, with a fitted bodice featuring an embroidered Celtic cross, chiffon sleeves, with the choice of a straight crepe skirt and a long crepe and chiffon train, or else a flowing skirt of sand-washed crepe with a chiffon over-skirt.
As with all Lindsay Fleming designs, Kyla can be changed to suit your own taste. For example many clients have preferred to have their dress made with silver or coloured embroidery. To discuss this and other options available contact a designer.
