Real Life Weddings & Photoshoots - 'Amy'

Early 1999, Amy contacted us by e-mail from her home in the U.S.A. She had seen our newly created web site and had fallen in love with "Cara".

Trouble was, she preferred the ivory embroidery on "Cara A", but felt that the crushed velvet fabric may be too heavy for a summer wedding. After talking through the alternatives, Amy decided on the crepe fabric seen on "Cara B" adorned with ivory celtic knot embroidery.

Over the next six months, as each stage of the project progressed, we kept in contact with Amy by email and telephone, initially, to agree on the fabric, embroidery and measurements. Next we constructed a toile to Amy's measurements, shipping it to her for any adjustments to be pinned and returned. Finally, the completed dress was dispatched in time for the big day.
