| Carolyn
and Andrew were married in the summer of 2001 at Culcreuch
Castle in Stirlingshire, and Carolyn approached us several
months prior, looking for the perfect dress to wear at her
Celtic wedding.
Andrew, a third generation baker, was making the cake and
was decorating it with celtic knots. Meanwhile, Carolyn's
mother was making the celtic style bridesmaid dresses, a ring
cushion and five banners which were to hang on the castle
wall.
To compliment this, Carolyn chose one of our most popular
designs, Iona, but with a specific enhancement.
She wanted the embroidery and the piping to be made with both
gold and silver thread. Of course, when a bride as beautiful
as Carolyn feels she needs just that little extra to finish
of her wedding day, then who are we to refuse?
All who helped make Carolyn's big day extra special would
have been proud with their work Even more so when the wedding
photographs were published later that summer in the Scottish
Sunday Post.
Grace
and Julie would like to thank all brides, photographers
and publications who have kindly agreed to the use of images
and comments.
