Real Life Weddings & Photoshoots - 'Hetty'

Iona, one of our most popular designs over the millennium, was chosen by Hetty from Edinburgh, Scotland. She had seen it advertised in one of the many magazines which regularly show Lindsay Fleming gowns.


Being close enough to visit us in person, Hetty had a handful of consultations with our designers. Firstly to see a sample of the dress she preferred, then to try on the toile of her dress. This stage is important to ensure that the final dress will be as perfect a fit as possible. Further visits over the next few months were then scheduled as the dress progressed, with the final fitting just a few weeks before the wedding.


Made from silk crepe with a silk chiffon overskirt, Iona is perfect for summer or winter weddings. Vicki chose chiffon sleeves, but Iona can also be chosen with crepe sleeves. .
